OK everyone, one of my girlfriends Natalie has convinced me to start blogging!
I used to blog every once in awhile but am going to try and do a topic every few days. If you are extremely liberal politically, please do not follow me on here as I will simply piss you off and my point of blogging isn't to have to argue and prove idiots wrong.
If you have ideas of topics you want covered, shot them my way otherwise I will choose, life situations, current events, etc.
First blog post:
As many of you have heard from my FB page, I have started the Dukan Diet. I did the Atkin's Diet many years ago and had great success on it so I know this will work for me! This one differs in that you are choosing lean meats, cut even more carbs, and are allowed limited amounts of low-fat and fat-free dairy. You also incorporate 2 T of oat bran each day to help with er well you know, that shit that doesn't happen when you aren't eating protein!
I am getting married in December so am more focused than ever on making sure I am a pretty bride and all my bridesmaids don't outshine me :)
Here is some of the general basics on the diet: http://thedukandiet.info/dukan-diet-phase-1-menu/
Here is a great website for recipes: http://dukanitout.com/
I will let you know my success on the diet during the attack phase. I should see about 1 lb weight loss per day if I am doing it right! What is great about this diet is it gives you a great after diet maintenance plan!
I highly reccommend getting Dr. Dukan's book! http://www.amazon.com/Dukan-Diet-Steps-Weight-Forever/dp/0307887960
Also if you want to, I am creating a pinterest board with recipes on there as well. http://pinterest.com/stephanie_said/dukan-diet-friendly/
Happy Losing!

Haha, my favorite blog from last year :)

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a fair-weather sports fan. The way I see it, all sports fans should adhere to a few basic loyalty rules.
You grow up rooting for the teams in your local region that play the sports you like. So you either love your home team, or you don't watch that sport at all -- there's no in-between. You don't just start rooting for them when they are **** doing good....I mean when they suck ass, you still support them! Don't just jump on the bandwagon cause some other team is hot and yours is not.
Don't go to home games and root for the other team.....if you want to root for them?? Freaking MOVE THERE!!
You can't change who you are rooting for mid-season either just because your team starts doing bad, be a real fan.
So your friends start talking **** about your team....you have two options:
a. Get new friends
b. Defend your team for GOD sakes!!
If you move away from your home region, you stay loyal to your original team. You don't adopt your new region's team just because they're conveniently located. You can watch them play -- heck, you can even go to the games. You just can't care whether they win or lose. The only time you can root at a game is if they are playing your original team.
Being a fair-weather sports fan is like being able to lapse in and out of one's citizenship at will. To support a certain team is to become part of a community. Just think about it this way....the victory of a winning season will bring so much more joy when you sat t hrough the hard years and stayed true to your team.....right??
